517 pages (complete). Signed by Arthur Pound on the dedication page (dated: 2/16/34). Also signed by ALFRED SLOAN (on the same page) who was, together with Henry Ford, one of the giants of motor industry management. He held all major positions in General Motors: President, CEO, General-Manager. Less impressively he was also thanked by Albert Speer for his contribution to the provision of up-to-date technology leading up to the invasion of Poland. At the time he told a GM shareholder that when it came to the Nazi style of government, the company should mind its own business. Nevertheless, he is known best for his extraordinary management of the company and for his dedication to philanthropic contribution. The blue boards have scuffing, worn about the edges corners and seams from shelving, handling and storage. They are steady and sure. The contents are most agreeable. Whilst the odd page may be peppered with foxing, the contents are confident, conscientiously neat and tidy, clean and clear, dutiful, healthy, sound. fk.
