147 pages (complete). Inscribed by and signed by de Guigné on the frontispage. A gently aging copy of this collection of poems. The Fortune Press was not only known as the closest the UK had to a gay publisher until 1971, but also for its poetry list (Dylan Thomas and Larkin for example, were first published by Fortune). Their post-war publications were possible due to the owner stockpiling paper during the war! De Guigné's poems are discreet, Classically influenced, sometimes 'Greek' in approach. The dustjacket of this copy is much worn all about. It is included. The boards are mild-mannered. They have wear about the edges and seams from shelving and storage, scuffing. The contents are gently aging. They have evidence of age throughout. There are flurries, freckles of foxing and age-related spotting. The contents are placid, thoughtful, clear, clean, comfortable, congenial. fk. Orders over $50.00 are shipped using tracked courier delivery services.
