Complete. A placid copy of this booklet by the excellent Burtt-Davy. Burtt-Davy had been appointed, in 1903, botanist and agrostologist with the newly founded Transvaal Department of Agriculture. He started a collection of Transvaal plants of which he already had an intimate knowledge of the subject. These first specimens came from Meintjieskop, Irene and a trip to the western Transvaal - at the time of his retirement in 1913, his collected specimens numbered 14,000. The stapled covers have some storage and previous owner marks and scribbles (about the edges). They are otherwise assured and secure. The contents are most pleasing. They are healthy, hale, fresh, clean, clear, competent, diligent. fk. Our orders are shipped using tracked courier delivery services.
