Coleman participated in the 1936 and 1948 olympics. Danie Joubert has signed his photograph. he took part in the 1932 olympics. Marjorie Clarke signed her photo. she also took part in the 1932 games. Theuns van Schalkwyk won a silver medal for boxing in the 1952 Helsinki games. he has signed his photo. Joan Harrison and Esther Brand also took part in 1952. they were jointly awarded the "shield of jove" and they have both signed the photo that was taken with the trophy. Dean Bekker won a bronze medal at the 1956 Melbourne olympics. he has signed his photo. Malcolm Spence. won a medal at the Rome 1960 Olympics. he has signed his photo.Fanie du Plessis took part in the commonwealth games of 1954 and 1958. he too has signed his photo.. this book was produced in a limited edition of 500 copies. there are no previous ownership marks and the binding is excellent. the jacket is worn and creased and marked. there are chips and tears but it looks reasonable in cellophane. a fascinating unique book.
