Prinvest-London, Gielgud, Val
1 Gielgud, Val Prinvest-London
Collins 1965 First Edition Hardcover Very Good Fair Hardcover
The boards are rubbed and worn but remain strong and square. The dust jacket is extremely shelf rubbed and worn, with a large chip out of the top edge which obscures the publisher and titles. There is creasing along the edges and small tears as well. It is in rather bad condition, but remains intact and mostly whole. Internally, the pages are clean, crisp and complete. The binding is tight and it is preserved in cellophane. JV.K

Gently Where the Roads Go, Hunter, Alan
2 Hunter, Alan Gently Where the Roads Go
Cassell 1962 First Edition Hardcover Fair No Jacket Hardcover
The boards, particularly the back board, are slightly warped from damp damage. The edges and corners are also marked from this damage. There is some general wear otherwise, but the silver gilt on the spine remains remarkably bright. Internally, there are some ink markings on the front end page. The first and last few pages are quite foxed, and unfortunately, there is damp staining at the edges of all of the pages within which gets worse towards the back. This does not affect the legibility of the text in any way. The binding remains surprisingly solid. JV.K

Tonight and Tomorrow, Troy, Simon
7 Troy, Simon Tonight and Tomorrow
Victor Gollancz 1957 First Edition Hardcover Very Good Good Hardcover
The boards are rubbed, marked and edge worn, but remain surprisingly solid and bright. There is a small chip out of the cloth on the top edge of the board. The dust jacket is quite rubbed, marked and worn; it has several small chips out of the edges and near the edges of the spine, but none of these impact the legibility of the jacket. It is discoloured and worn, but remains whole and intact. Internally, there is some damage to the front end page and pastedown. The pastedown has a chip from it, and the end page is marked. The back end page and pastedown have a smaller amount of damage to them. This does not extend into the text, and the pages within are crisp, clean and complete. The binding is strong and it is well protected and presented handsomely in cellophane. JV.K
