1 Benson, E F The Relentless City
William Heinemann, London 1903 First Edition Hardcover Fair No Jacket Hardcover
279 pages plus advertising pages (complete). A resolute, much owned and negligently stored copy. Written in pre-Mapp and Lucia days, this is a visceral satire on the ultra-rich of New York. However, the pages are sure, certain, clear. Despite foxing and some occasional marks, the pages are contented and may be read with complete enjoyment and ease. fk
