Chapter 1 trades out of four premises that are all in the Johannesburg area.  Our emphasis is providing quality books at highly competitive prices.  A large (and continuously growing) selection of our books are listed on various websites on the internet. 

We post on a daily basis to all parts of the world.  All our books are parcelled in tissue paper, bubble wrap, card board and strong brown paper. If the book has a dust jacket it is provided with a protective cellophane sleeve. We supply a tracking number on every parcel that we post.

We maintain a five star rating on amazon.co.uk, abebooks.com and alibris.co.uk.

Our main shops are at 67 Grant avenue, Norwood (next to the spar) and on 7th Street in Melville, just off fourth Avenue next to the Antz Restaurant. We have two large market stalls, which specialise in the latest fiction and other new releases.  They are at Bruma Market World in the 6th Avenue, and at the Bright Water Commons Marketplace (formerly known as Randburg Waterfront) which is just off Republic Rd in Randburg.
